Grace Fellowship Church's student ministry exists to see the gospel advance in and through the lives of our students.

In other words, we exist to see millennials turned into missionaries.

After they've been "nurtured" through the Seed Patch and the Grove, 6th through 12th grade students are invited to be part of The Mill. As a sawmill shapes trees into lumber and timber, our desire is to see students shaped into missionaries who will engage their schools, workplaces, sports teams, etc. with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Prayerfully, this is done through three primary ways. (For more info, contact Ben: ben@gracekinston.org).

The Mill Gathered: The 6:33 Gathering

Sunday evenings at 6:33, students are invited to The Spears Home for fellowship, prayer, musical worship, and expository Bible teaching. We call it the "6:33 Gathering" in remembrance of Matthew 6:33: "But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." (ESV). It's not a service to be attended; it's a gathering in which to participate. Join us!

The Mill Scattered: Small Groups and Mentorship

Throughout the week, small student groups of similar age and gender gather together with a trusted adult. Together, the groups digest the message from the previous 6:33 Service, study Scripture together, pray for one another, hold each other accountable to their walks with Christ, and simply "do life together." We believe this is the setting in which "life" truly happens in The Mill.

Students are also encouraged to develop more personal relationships with leaders and older students; we prioritize "formally informal mentorship." We do so in the Spirit of Paul's words in Corinthians 11:1: "Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ."

Special Events and Ministry Partnerships

Local ministry partnerships. International mission trips. 80s-themed skate parties. Spiritual retreats. Hiking adventures. World Cup and Super Bowl watch parties. Sports. Movie Nights. Need we say more?

The Mill is all about fun and fellowship, especially when those things glorify God by pointing us (and others) to Jesus. Keep your eyes peeled and your ears open, because new information about our special events is coming your way all the time!
