  • Jason McKnight: Lead pastor

    Jason has served as lead pastor since 2003. He is a graduate of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and is orginally from Montreal. He and his wife, Susan, have two young boys, Andrew and Daniel.

  • Kent henderson: Pastor of worship and Missions

    Kent is originally from North Carolina and has served as worship leader at Grace since 2000. He has served on staff at churches in Florida and Michigan. He is a graduate of Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Mary have 4 children. He loves leading our teams and helping the congregation engage God in Christ-centered worship.

  • Kelly taylor: Children's ministry director

    A native of Snow Hill, Kelly Taylor now calls Kinston home along with her husband Larry. She is a summa cum laude graduate of North Carolina Wesleyan College with degrees in Psychology and Religion. Kelly now spends her days chasing and cleaning up after her 3 year old twin boys Luke and Thad while homeschooling her six year old daughter Merryn. She is an avid reader and shares her love of adventure with the children she teaches. Kelly is excited to see the children of Grace grow and thrive as they discover the love of Christ through children’s ministry. kelly@gracekinston.org

  • Susan mcknight: Director of mobilization and housechurch

    Susan has loved being a part of Grace since 2003 and is very excited to be on the staff team, now. Her passion is helping people get connected to Christ through serving Him and through House church. She and Jason have 2 boys, Andrew and Daniel, who won't stop growing no matter what she tries. susan@gracekinston.org

  • Amber Stocks: Administrator

    Amber joined the staff at Grace in June, 2015. A former schoolteacher, she also brings experience in administration. She and her husband, Mat, have 3 boys. admin@gracekinston.org

  • Austin Gannett: Pastor of Early Career CHURCH PLANTING

    Austin is a graduate of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and grew up at Grace Fellowship. He and his wife, Amy, have moved to Kinston from Colorado to help launch our Church planting effort as part of Vision 2020 and lead Early Career ministry. austin@gracekinston.org

  • Ben Hendrix: Student Ministry Pastor

    Ben and his wife, Janessa, are from Hendersonville, TN. Ben joined Grace in July, 2017 as Student ministry pastor. He is a graduate of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. ben@gracekinston.org

Elders

Grace is an elder-led church. This means that the elders together shoulder the responsibility for shepherding this body of believers - overseeing doctrine, discipleship, direction, evangelizing and ministries.
